Getting Started

Copy data files to the hard drive on AA113 computers:

• Go to My Computer


• Double click on drive C


• Right click in a blank area and select New, Folder


• Type your first and lastname and press enter


• Insert the data CD


• Select the open to view the data files folder


• Ctrl A to select all


• Ctrl C to copy


• Navigate back to your folder on Drive C


• Ctrl V to paste files

This folder is where you will open files and save files to.

Chapter 1 Assignment

Complete all the activities on pages 1-1 to 1-39 (Do not print anything)

Complete Skills Review on pages 1-41 to 1-43 (Do not print anything)

Complete Project Builder 2 on page 1-44. Email this file to me at mindy.holder@sccc.edu. Be sure to put Photoshop Chapter 1 Project Builder 2 in the subject line of the email.
